INVE$TMENT CLUB BEGIN$

Want to put your money where your mouth is? How does $100,000.00 dollars sound for investing in the Stock Market? OK, it's virtual money (not real) but if you learn how to invest at school, you can make your money work for YOU when you start making an income in the not-so-distant future. This will make your parents happy when they can retire early on your income. You can also set up trust funds for your favorite teachers and become philanthropists.

You will learn to make money "grow" in this year's INVESTMENT CLUB. Coach Bob Gordon, assisted by Ms. Brumsted, will help you learn about the economy, risk, interest, compounding, portfolios, recession (oops) and many more exciting financial terms as we play the STOCK MARKET GAME and compete to make a virtual profit. The club is open to all Middle School students, and meets every other Thursday until 3:30 PM in the PLTW lab until the Stock Market Game officially begins.
